Viewing the display screen

The display screen is shown with a border around it as follows:

Note that you will usually be viewing the display screen from an angle, depending where you are sitting, and so the screen will be shown at an appropriate angle.

There are three ways to get a better view of the display screen as follows

·                     Zooming your view in

·                     Leaning over the table

·                     Launching a separate window

Zooming your view in

You can look at the display screen and zoom in to get a better view of as described in Looking around the conference room. This is useful if you do not want to have another window open, and do not want to look at the other participants while watching the presentation. It can be used in conjunction with leaning over the table.

In some cases you may still not be able to see the whole screen. This could be either because the top of the screen has gone out of view, in which case you may need to zoom out, or because another participant is in your way, in which case you may need to lean over the table.

Leaning over the table

You can lean over the table to get a better view of the display screen and as described in Leaning over the table. This is useful if you do not want to have another window open, and do not want to look at the other participants while watching the presentation. It can be used in conjunction with zooming your view in.

Launching a separate window

In some cases you may prefer to remain zoomed out so as to be able to see the other participants while viewing the presentation. The presentation may be displayed in a separate window to the conference room as follows.

Ensure that you are not in look mode (by clicking once with your mouse), then position your cursor arrow over the display screen and click once. A separate display screen window will launch which will show the presentation as it progresses.

Displaying the presentation in a separate window also has the advantage that the display is not presented at an angle, but is presented as if you were directly in front of the display screen.

You can close this window at any time using the usual close window check box at the top right hand of the separate display screen window.
