PC requirements

The PC

JustMeet will work on most standard PCs running Windows. We recommend running JustMeet on a PC that is at least an Intel Pentium III 1,6 GHz platform with 256MB of RAM.

We recommend the latest 3d graphics cards from Nvidia or ATI. Laptops using the Intel® Extreme Graphics 2 for Mobile are also suitable, but will run with slightly less performance. A suitable amount of graphics memory is 32meg, though less is needed - it depends on the screen resolution and colour depth in use. The card must support 3d acceleration; otherwise the main processor performs all of the calculations and this can affect PC performance.

Windows XP and Vista are supported without any changes. If you are running Windows 98, Windows 2000 or Windows Me then you must check the DirectX version is correct (see below).

Windows 95 and Windows NT cannot meet the Microsoft DirectX requirements and therefore cannot be used to run JustMeet.

Web browser

A web browser is required to install JustMeet, connect to the conference centre, and run JustMeet. If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer then it must be version 5 or higher. If you are using the Firefox browser then it must be version 1.5 or higher. We recommend using the latest version.

Multimedia

For graphics and audio, the JustMeet conference centre client software uses Microsoft DirectX, which must be version 8.1 or higher.

Operation using PC speakers is possible on Windows XP. However, we recommend using a headset in all cases for optimal sound quality and echo suppression.
