Firewall configuration

If you are running a firewall, then it must be set up to allow JustMeet to run. However the only requirements are for outgoing ports and not for incoming ports. This means that if you are just using the Windows firewall you need make no further adjustments, as this firewall allows outgoing ports to be opened by default. This will apply to a number of other firewalls as well. If you have problems please check the outgoing port settings for your firewall.

If you do run a firewall that blocks outgoing ports, then you need to configure it so that JustMeet can make outgoing connections to the following ports:

·                     1730 TCP

·                     5000-5999 TCP & UDP

No other ports are needed, although of course a valid connection to the JustMeet conference centre is also needed by the web browser. The web browser requires outgoing ports 80 (HTTP) and 443 (HTTPS).
