Why is part of the room black?

Unfortunately, not all video drivers obey the rules. Some older video cards claim that they're displaying our 3D room, telling us that all is well - while all you see is a black room, or odd black triangles appearing and disappearing within an otherwise normal room view.

We would suggest that you visit the website of your video card or PC manufacturer and check whether any updated video driver software is available.
